Number of samangos: Approximately 15 samangos, adults and juveniles, including two females each carrying tiny baby, and one large adult male.
Habitat: Foraging in a large indigenous fig tree on the edge of indigenous forest
Observations: On a very misty morning, with some drizzle, about 15 Samangos came out of the forest margin and went into a large fig tree to feed. The troop was very aware of me observing them and the large male in particular positioned himself so that he could watch me all the time. They remained in the tree until just after 07h00, before going back into the forest
